2011 - Celebrating 30 Years

In 2011, Stonehenge celebrated its 30th birthday. Our company is very proud of its heritage and the reputation we have earnt in Australia and in foreign markets. As a luxury home design and construction company, our reputation has been forged by endless innovation and is recognised with over 50 National and State Housing Awards, highlighted by being multiple winners of the HIA Home of the Year and the Australian Quality Builder of the Year.

 
 
2010 WilliamsCove

2010-present - 'Williams Cove', Williamstown

'Williams Cove' is a fully masterplanned community consisting of 53 luxury townhouses. Situated in a truly unique Williamstown location, within a 10km radius of Melbourne's CBD, 'Williams Cove' two and three storey homes have been carefully designed to maximise spectacular bay and wetland views from elevated open planned indoor-outdoor living areas.

Construction and sales are well underway with 23 homes now sold and many residents already moved into and enjoying their new homes and lifestyle.

2008-2010 CaspianMews

2008-2010 - 'Caspian Mews', Williamstown

This masterplanned development of 9 townhouses is situated next to Jawbone Nature Reserve on the edge of Port Phillip Bay. Many of the homes are built on a 'reverse living' concept with bedrooms on the ground floor and open plan indoor / outdoor living spaces on the first floor to maximise bay and wetland views and sea breezes. Luxury features include gas log fires, cathedral ceilings, stone benchtops and European appliances.

 
2007 Alcheringa

2007-2009 - Alcheringa Aged Care, Swan Hill

Alcheringa Hostel is a purpose-built 74 bed high care facility within the new Tower Hill residential estate on the fringe of Swan Hill. This facility includes feature enhanced living conditions for aged care residents and also provides special care for dementia residents. Adjacent to this facility will be Swan Hill Village, an independent living estate designed for persons aged 55 and over.

2004-2005 - 'Beachcomer Mews', Sanctuary Lakes

Built within the Sanctuary Lakes Golf Resort, Beachcomber Mews is seven contemporary townhouses with stunning views of the lake.

The townhouses are related through design features, yet they maintain their individuality through their colour schemes and colour palette. Beachcomber Mews was runner-up for the Medium Density Development of the Year at the 2007 HIA Awards.

1997-2002 - 'Williams Bay', WIlliamstown

In 2001, Stonehenge completed its landmark development - Williams Bay. Williams Bay is a 52-house development in Williamstown that was ten years in the making. Designed, developed and built by the Stonehenge team, the Williams Bay development won the 2001 Medium Density Development of the Year at the Housing Industry Association (HIA) Awards.

Williams Bay is renowned for its design quality which aims to fit in seemlessly with the natural environment, as well as the community-centric approach the Stonehenge team took to the project. A Community Portal was developed for the residents of Williams Bay to allow them to connect with each other online. The project was successful and the Portal was expanded to all residents of Williamstown and became Williamstown Online.

40 Projects completed and 60 staff and subbies travel and work in Japan.

1995-1997 - Australian Consul-General's Residence, Kobe, Japan

In the earlier 1990s, Stonehenge established itself in the tough housing market of Japan through a number of masterplan developments, sports and leisure, as well as aged care facilities.

Following on from this exposure in the Japan market, Stonehenge was asked to design and build the new Australian Consul-General's residence in the city of Kobe. Built using Australian products exported by Stonehenge, the project took a year to complete and cost $1.5m.

1989 - 1st Neo-Classical Home, Toorak

In 1989, Stonehenge embarked on its most ambitious project yet - A custom home project affectionately known as the "White House" in the premiere Melbourne suburb of Toorak. The neo-classical design was one of many innovative designs that came out of the Stonehenge Creative team in the late 1980s and early 1990s and set the benchmark for other design and building firms in Melbourne.

The project was the first of many luxury custom home projects in Toorak and its surrounding suburbs and firmly established Stonehenge's reputation for quality design and craftmanship.

In 1985, the Stonehenge team built its first Custom Designed Stone Home in the outer-Melbourne suburb of Harkaway.

1983 - Early Bathroom Renovation, Kew

In 1981, Mark Davis founded Stonehenge as a renovations specialist based in the Melbourne suburb of Williamstown with the help of a young apprentice carpenter, Adrian Roads (who is still with the company today).

In 1983, Stonehenge partnered with renowned architect Alex Recht for the first time. The renovation project was a bathroom in the suburb of Kew.
